On the ‘local branches’ part of your website you link to a ‘Swinton branch’ which, although it has an advert for the Green Party on it, has as its main heading ‘Swinton South Liberal—‘. The rest of the website seems to be about the liberal party and, as far as I can see, has no further information about the ‘Swinton branch’ of the Green Party.
I recommend that you remove this link from your website as it is confusing for voters.
Thanks for your comment, the reason for this is due to the defection of several Liberal Democrats to the Green Party. South Swinton Branch is organised by Joe O’Neill who was a Liberal (then Independent) Councillor until May last year, now a Green. I’ve dropped him a quick email and hopefully he’ll update the title of his blog to reflect the changes.
Hi FOlks, can I point out that this old site is out of use? The Salford Green Party site is salford.greenparty.org.uk
You have to click on that, or type it correctly please, so that you get to the current site.
We have hundreds of members and we ran candidated in 19 out of 20 wards of Salford. We got around 5% of the vote in the General Election in all 3 constituencies in 2015 as well.
most importantly we are campaigning on a variety of issues, consulting residents, bringing new residents into beter awareness of their rights to vote, helping register people in Whit Lane, Regents Park, and Blackfriars, and keeping track of ourselves using our Green Party national websites
